The six bedrooms all have ensuite full baths, giving everyone their privacy – the cabin is ideal for extended families, as well as couples’ retreats.

Fully equipped kitchen

We love to cook together and have equipped the kitchen with all the large and small appliances you need so you can make every meal memorable (and enough place settings for everyone!). And there’s a large gas grill outside for BBQ night.

With a common area on each of the three floors, you can all come together or sit together for a more private chat in smaller groups.

Cabin walkthrough

Top floor living room

As you enter the cabin on the top floor, you’ll enter a bright and open space with cathedral-height ceilings and picture windows with stunning views of the Smokies. In this space, you have one of the living room areas with a large-screen TV, sofas, and a gas fireplace, as well as the piano and our other musical instruments. You’ll also find our collection of children’s books in this space. You also have a half bath accessible on this floor.

Kitchen

On the other side of the top floor is a spacious kitchen with all modern appliances: microwave, blender, KitchenAid assistant, Cuisinart food processor, toaster, panini grill, double function coffee machine for drip brewing and Keurig pods, Crock-Pot, etc. The kitchen has basic supplies, including spices. There are plenty of high-quality, American made plates, dishes, and cups from Fiestaware, as well as glasses and cutlery – even for the largest groups. The kitchen has large counters, as well as an island with a bar and extra seating. Well-lit and with a practical floor plan for preparing meals and cleaning up, the kitchen is so beautiful you will really enjoy the time you spend there. A second fridge is located downstairs. You’ll find a large gas grill immediately outside the front door, on the driveway.

Dining area

Adjacent to the kitchen is a large dining table with seating for 12 on a combination of chairs and wooden benches. There is also additional seating for four by the kitchen island, next to the dining table.

Decks

There are three large, covered decks – one on each floor. The views from each deck is incredible, with a panorama over the Smokies – even on the bottom floor deck. There are plenty of rockers and small tables to sit and relax.

On the bottom floor deck, you also have the large hot tub, where you can soak after a day on the trails while enjoying the scenery.

Middle floor living room

On the middle floor, you’ll find a smaller living room with an air hockey table, a sofa and coffee table.

Bottom floor living room

The serious entertainment happens on the bottom floor. Here you will find:

Laundry nook

Off the downstairs living room, you have a laundry nook with washing machine and dryer. You’ll also find the pack’n’play and the ironing board in this space.

Bedrooms

With six bedrooms, Mountain Haven can sleep up to 12 guests. All bedrooms are king suites with private full bathrooms – giving privacy for everyone in your group. For families with an infant, a pack’n’play is available.
